Through the clinician attuning to each client’s unique situation, Brainspotting accesses and works within the limbic system of the brain (deep into the lower mid-brain). It can help to identify, process, and release core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation, and a variety of other challenging symptoms that are typically out of reach of the conscious mind’s ability to process or communicate. This approach can be effective with or without words, for all ages, and can be done in person or via telehealth.
Incorporating brainspotting in a coaching session either weekly or every few weeks can be a great way to help your body and mind catch up with your intentions an application of the skills we work through together. I am a level 1 &2 trained brainspotting practitioner, and working toward certification!
